PRU for Tooling:

Non-Consumable tooling provided by, or paid for by, MII shall be and remain MII’s property. Supplier is responsible for proper care, storage, and return of tooling.

Tooling paid for by MII, and fabricated by the supplier, must be appropriately marked as MII property. The main fixture and all details to multi-piece fixtures/tooling must be identified. Identification will include specific part number, operation number, MII MT-XXXX tool number that will be issued by MII Engineering Department.

Tooling will be returned to MII at the completion of open PO’s unless agreed upon in writing by the MII buyer for the supplier to retain tooling to support a long-term contract. When returned, tooling must be marked as above and documentation must cite the final PO on which tooling was used.

Tooling shall only be used for manufacture of material for MII.

Supplier shall sign and return tooling receipt verification documentation (“Shipper”).
