First Article Inspector (2nd Shift and weekends)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         Performs First Article inspections of products to determine conformance to the customer's engineering prints and specifications, utilizing CMM's and mechanical gauging.

·         High School Diploma or GED required.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Minimum 2-5 years experience running and programming CMM's on Aerospace Hardware required.

·         Should have good basic math aptitude and organizational skills.

·         Ability to read engineering drawings interpreting GDT per Ansi Y14.5.

·         Possess a fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes, familiarity and knowledge of machining, and a basic understanding of special processes (i.e heat treatment, plating, welding, etc.).

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Eyesight correctable to 20/30 required.

·         Will be required to take and pass a color blindness test for visual inspections.

 

Handfinish/Deburr (Multiple Shifts)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         Polishing complex high precision machined parts.

·         Able to use power and hand tools to attain finish requirements on intricate aerospace and semiconductor hardware.

·         Able to read and interpret blueprints and MOT sketches.

 

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·          Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

·         Aluminum experience preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

 

CNC Lathe Machinist (Multiple Shifts)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         CNC Lathe Machinist required to perform own set up’s, edit programs, machine intricate aerospace components. High School Diploma or GED required.

·         Able to read blueprints and follow written instructions.

 

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·         Minimum 5 years Aerospace experience.

·         Lean Manufacturing, 5S Training.

·         Aerospace Blueprint Reading, Inspection Techniques for Machinists, SPC, CNC Program Management, Flow manufacturing, Geometric dimensioning and tolerance, Trigonometry, machine applications and tooling fixtures.

 

CNC Machinist (Multiple Shifts)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         CNC set-up machinist. Trouble shooting programs and methodology. Fixture construction.

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

·         Ability to run 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines.

·          Creating and editing programs including macros.

·         Calculate machine feeds and speeds for soft and hard metals.

·         Monitor the feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process.

·          Measure dimensions of finished work-pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.

·         Ability to determine causes of operating errors and to find a solution to the problem.

 

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·         Lean manufacturing, 5S Training.

 Tool Crib Attendant (2nd Shift)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         Construction of dial bore and bridge gages.

·         Issue measurement equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

·         Control all gage pins.

·         In and out traceability for issued gages.

·         Perishable tooling Mill and Lathe.

·         Assist calibration department with calibration issues.

·         Inventory of all perishable tooling.

·         Min/Max controls of certain items.

·         General shop perishable goods.

·         Issue and maintain machining fixture inventory.

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

·         Ability to read and write English

·         Must have basic computer skills in order to maintain a database and utilize email

 

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

   

Anodization/Plating Tech (Multiple Shifts)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         Processes stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries utilizing metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc. on automated and manual process lines.

·         Ensures waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry.

·         Assists in equipment maintenance as required.

·         Must be able to follow written, oral direction and demonstrated procedures involving the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing.

 

Education and Experience:

·         High school education or GED equivalent.

·         Must have basic computer skills.

·         Ideal candidates have 3+ years experience in metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

 

Senior Buyer

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         The incumbent will be responsible for direct oversight for planning and procuring OEM and build-to-print parts and assemblies, and supporting supply chain activities using sound business practices and ethics.

·         Processes orders and order acknowledgments daily using MRP system and ancillary data sources and analyses developed by the incumbent including databases and spreadsheets.

·         Selects and/or recommends suppliers and monitors for performance.

·         Understands inventory control principles and processes and the impact of inventory to the financial health of the company.

·         Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.

·         Reviews supplier bids and negotiates pricing to ensure best available price with quality and delivery requirements.

·         Works actively to identify, engage, and manage relationships with suppliers capable of meeting company requirements relative to cost, delivery, service, and quality.

·         Maintains records and systems consistent with professional approach to purchasing activities.

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

·         Familiar with standard concepts and commonly used purchasing policies, processes and procedures.

·         Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.

·         Basic knowledge of material work planning and methods engineering processes and procedures.

·         Basic knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.

·         Strong ERP, MRP and PC skills (experience with Epicor a plus).

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.

·         3-5 years manufacturing purchasing related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.

·         Specific related supply-chain experience required.

 

Account Manager (Aerospace)

 

Skills/ Requirements

Essential Duties:

·         Communicate with our customers on issues regarding orders, status, returns, shipments, and products.

·         Act as liaison with customers and internal functions, such as manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and shipping, to obtain and communicate information necessary to process orders and avoid delays.

·         Expedite and track orders.

·         Attend sales seminars and training, meetings, or educational activities to remain current on latest developments, trends, and regulations in the marketplace.

·         Serve as primary customer contact and adviser with Sales Management.

·         Maintain internal and external electronic files and spreadsheets for follow-up.

·         Perform other sales or marketing activities as assigned.

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

·         Must have outstanding computer skills and ability to be well organized and establish priorities.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Requires minimum 5 years experience in customer service role.

·         Experience in aerospace manufacturing strongly preferred.

·         Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of customers is required.
